I just visited this clinic for the first time and had a lovely experience. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly, and Dr. Chan was thorough—more so than other Optometrists I've been to. I have VSS and my symptoms overlap with Retinal Detachment. No to be dramatic, but I do fear not catching tears or holes because of my diagnosis. Thus I like to get my retinas checked regularly. Luckily, all is well and my eyes are healthy. But that good news isn't the reason why I am giving this place 5 stars.
I will definitely be going here for my yearly checkups from now on.

Dr. Diana Chan and staff provided absolutely exemplary service in accommodating and diagnosing this out-of-town patient on short notice with significant eye irritation. During examination, Dr. Chan identified PSC with both eyes and referred patient to Bochner Eye Institute for surgery back in my hometown. I was treated with the utmost care and attention. If in the Niagara region, I would certainly make Dr. Chan and her associates my ‘go to’ eye care professionals. Thank you Spectacle!

From start to finish, I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. They were very kind, and the store was clean/well-organized. Lots of variety of glasses and sunglasses to choose from. They offer Saturday appointments, which is great and accommodating. Ashley was incredibly helpful with direct billing and assisting my husband and I choosing our glasses. Thank you 😊

Lost my glasses and needed a new prescription anyways.
They saw me within one day of calling, did a very thorough eye exam. Doctor was pleasant, caring and informative. They helped me find the perfect frames for my face and even made it fun.
My glasses were ready less than 48hrs later. Couldn’t be happier and they’ve earned a lifetime customer.

My husband and I came to the Spectacle clinic to get him and his groomsman some sunglasses for our wedding day and let me tell you what an INCREDIBLE experience we had! The entire staff was super kind and helpful from the moment we walked in but they also went above and beyond as my husband needed a prescription on his sunglasses that we weren’t sure if we would receive on time and they offered us to use the ones he tried on if the glasses didn’t arrive for our big day! Not only were they willing to do this HUGE favour for us for our special day but they also gave us a very sweet discount as a wedding gift! 10\10 service, you will have my business for life due to your amazing service and generosity and we can not thank you enough.

Amazing, compassionate service! On a Friday night, my current glasses (from another business) broke. I needed a new frame urgently but also knew I needed a new lens prescription. On Saturday morning after calling around to several other places, I called the St Catharines location who told me there was a cancellation at the Niagara Falls location. They got me in mid-afternoon that day. Dr. Kim was lovely and after a comprehensive exam, I got my new lens prescription. The other staff and opticians were so friendly and took their time helping me choose a new pair. Mariam was especially kind, even bringing me water when I told her I had a migraine (from the broken glasses). My glasses were ready only a few days later. What was originally a very stressful situation was a pleasant experience thanks to the clinic.

I went to this location for an eye test and also the next day to purchase sunglasses. The staff here were all so friendly and helpful.
In particular Norma helped us purchase sunglasses and was excellent. She was so welcoming and gave us some great tips in taking care of our glasses. The choice of sunglasses was also better than some of the other locations I went to.

Shopping for glasses is always exciting at Spectacle! It starts at the eye exam and Drs. Kim & Chan took care of my mother and I. They were attentive and explained the different tests before describing our eye health. Now the fun part, they always have the best selections of frames and I enjoy being able to try on a bunch of frames with their impartial feedback! They also have a variety of lens options as well. It took less than a week to have my prescription glasses ready and I’m in love with them! I’ve named this pair ‘Lucretia’. LOL.
