In-Store Return Policy

Frames and Sunglasses:

Spectacle Clinic offers exchanges for frames and sunglasses within 7 days of product delivery. Products must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with valid proof of purchase. We allow a one-time exchange only.

Ophthalmic Lenses:

A deposit covering part of the total cost will be required by Spectacle Clinic before lens production begins. If an order is canceled after lens production has started, the deposit will be retained as compensation for incurred expenses and losses.

Contact Lenses:

Goods remain the property of Spectacle Clinic until full payment. We are not responsible for delivery delays. Buyers acknowledge having read and understood the contract terms and conditions.

Frames and Sunglasses:

Exchanges for frames and sunglasses are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in original packaging with proof of purchase. Customers bear the risk of loss or damage during return shipping. Upon receipt of the exchanged product, we will promptly process the exchange and adjust the amount for shipping fees. Only one exchange is allowed.

Ophthalmic Lenses:

If unsatisfied, customers can replace lenses within 30 days of delivery for a $30 lab fee.

Contact Lenses:

Unopened boxes can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Boxes must be sealed and in pristine condition. After 30 days, sealed boxes can be returned for store credit, following prior communication with Spectacle Clinic for return authorization. If a return is authorized, a gift card of equivalent value will be issued. For exchanges after 30 days, contact us for authorization. Once the product is received, we will process the exchange and adjust for shipping fees.

All products sold on spectacleclinic.ca are authentic. If there is an issue, notify us immediately. If a product is deemed defective by the manufacturer, we will provide a full in-store credit.

If your prescription changes and you have unopened boxes bought from spectacleclinic.ca, we will exchange them. Boxes with less than 18 months until expiration will not be accepted. 

Exchanges & Refund Procedures

Contact us via email to initiate your exchange or refund. Include your name, purchase date, invoice number, and a description of your request. Spectacle Clinic will respond within five business days with the necessary procedure.

Note: For exchanges, return the product in its original packaging with all accessories (cases, cleaning cloths, authenticity certificates, etc.) to avoid restocking fees of 5-10% of the purchase price. The customer is responsible for the product until it reaches us and should ensure adequate protection against loss or damage during shipping.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
